Norton Rose launches eleventh European office in Luxembourg

Norton Rose Fulbright is launching an office in Luxembourg with a team hire from independent firm BS Avocates.

BS Avocates founding partner Stéphane Braun will lead the office, alongside funds partner Manfred Dietrich and tax partner Raquel Guevara.

The new office, which will be operational in June, ahead of the firm’s merger with US firm Chadbourne & Parke.

This would be the firm’s eleventh office, alongside Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris, and Warsaw. According to data from The Lawyer’s upcoming Global 200 2017 report, the firm has a total of 98 partners spread across its existing 10 offices.

Norton Rose will be the thirteenth international firm to launch in Luxembourg, with the lineup including Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy, Dentons, DLA Piper, Dechert, Hogan Lovells, Charles Russell Speechleys and Bird & Bird.
