Freshfields and White & Case win roles on £800m Alfa IPO

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and White & Case have won top roles on the £800m listing of Alfa Financial Software.

The IPO comes amid another stock market drought, with few listings making their way through to the finish line.

New White & Case partner Jonathan Parry led for the company Alfa, alongside partners Inigo Esteve and Laura Sizemore.

Freshfields won the mandate from the joint co-ordinators and sponsors Barclays and Numis. The magic circle firm’s team was led by partners Mark Austin and New York-qualified partner Doug Smith.

Alfa Financial Software develops products for the finance industry, with admission to the main market of the London Stock Exchange expected this summer.

Its headquarters are in London and it has additional offices in Detroit, Los Angeles and Auckland.
