What questions does the special counsel have for Trump? The New York Times has the list

Those are among several questions that appear to seek information on whether there was any obstruction of justice, according to the New York Times, which obtained the list of more than 40 questions. The special counsel would also like to ask Trump whether he knew of possible pardon offers to Flynn and about any discussions about firing Mueller.

Some questions relate to Russia. One asks what Trump knew about any Russian outreach regarding potential campaign assistance by former campaign chairman Paul Manafort or other campaign aides. Another asks Trump whether he discussed any meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian sanctions during the campaign.

Yet another asks what Trump knew about email hacking by Russia, its use of social media and other acts aimed at the campaign.

Other questions ask what Trump knew about any attempt by his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to set up a backchannel to Russia, what he knew about any communications with WikiLeaks by adviser Roger Stone, and what happened during Trump’s 2013 trip to Moscow for the Miss Universe pageant.

Also on the lists are some questions relating to Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. The questions ask what communication Trump had with Cohen about Russian real estate developments during the campaign, and what he knew about a Ukrainian peace proposal provided to Cohen in 2017.

Trump said in tweets on Tuesday that the leaking of the questions was disgraceful, the New York Times reports in a separate story.

So disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were “leaked” to the media. No questions on Collusion. Oh, I see…you have a made up, phony crime, Collusion, that never existed, and an investigation begun with illegally leaked classified information. Nice!

It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened! Witch Hunt!
